| CASE STUDIES | |
Each of our children has hearing loss and additional special needs. Hearing loss often affects other skills and abilities: hearing loss in children can affect attachment/social connection and delay preverbal skills such as eye contact, turn taking and symbolic play. It can also delay speech development, and receptive and expressive language development. Many of our children choose to address the hearing loss with Cochlear Implants. |
